 Course - The Therapeutic Elements
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
You will have 21 hours of individual and group therapy sessions weekly, including 3 sessions of one to one therapy and 4 hours of relapse prevention.
Physical
You have 12 hours of individual and group fitness sessions weekly which includes 4 hours of massage . You can also use the gym, the swimming pool and any of the games or sports and leisure equipment in your free time.
Spiritual
Body Renew is a programme unique to Channah. It is a holistic fitness system
that combines movement and breathwork. This gives an excellent emotional and physical workout whilst developing inner calm and core body strength.
We are the only facility in the world that offers this programme.
Free Time
Although the course is intensive there is enough free time to allow you to complete homework, reflect and relax. You are free to enjoy all the amenities of the centre or just relax on the veranda of your bungalow.
Recreation
Every Sunday you will be taken on an escorted day trip to sample the delights of this wonderful country, and take some ‘holiday’ photos! You can try elephant trekking, river rafting and jungle trekking during your stay, as well as visiting temples and markets. Every evening films are shown on the large screen home theatre. You will also have internet access and a book and DVD library to use. In all, your time with us will be a real opportunity to make the changes you want and you will return home fit, relaxed and ready to succeed.
CBT helps you change the way you think about yourself, the world and other people.It also helps you to understand how your actions affect your thoughts and feelings and, therefore, how your thoughts and your feelings affect your actions.
CBT will help you change how you think (Cognitive) and change what you do (Behavioural). It will focus on the here and now in order to help you make the changes you want; NOW.
