Staff Team

My name is Simon Gunn and I am the Centre Director.

Having worked in the drug and alcohol treatment sector for 15 years I have seen many changes, good and bad, in treatment. One of the constants, however, is that most rehabilitation centres rely on groups and time away from temptation.

I have long believed that an intensive programme that looks at the whole person, not just the substance, would mean that the client could be back to work in less than a month. This means a full days work 6 days a week with a lot of one to one work and special attention paid to physical health.

Couple that with excellent food and accommodation and a setting that is both peaceful and far removed from any access to drugs or alcohol and you have a recipe for a short stay programme that really works and stays working.

The staff team are highly qualified and have many years experience working with drug and alcohol issues. We also have a dedicated support team to ensure that you can concentrate on the programme knowing your food is being prepared and your washing is done.

The whole team is here to support you while you make the changes you need to. This can be a challenging time for you and we will do our best to minimise the petty niggles that get in the way of your treatment.
